Liza + Kenny ● Long Island Sass the Dress Photography
It was a perfect October day for an autumnal-themed sass the dress session. And let me tell you – Liza and Kenny totally “brought it.” They brought it like whoa. This sass the dress involved a pumpkin patch, moonbounce, hay ride, and corn maze. Phew!!
Married in July, Liza and Kenny were actually winners of my wedding photography giveaway that I ran earlier this year, but in the intervening time from when they entered the contest to when the winners were announced, they had already booked another photographer. So we switched it out for a boudoir session (which will be coming on my boudoir blog soon) and the sass the dress. They have both been so much fun to work with, and the sass the dress was amazeballs. Wait, that should have an exclamation point. Amazeballs!!
Like I’ve said before, I call it “sass the dress” rather than “trash the dress” because I think a lot of people think of literally “trashing” their dress, when all the session really is is just putting your dress back on and heading out into unexpected situations. Of the dresses that have been sassed so far, not one of them has been damaged in any way – in fact the most that’s happened is the bottom edge has gotten a little dirty. Of course, if a couple actually wanted to go the extra step and actually “trash” the dress, that’s totally fine with me. I always leave the decision up to the couple as to how far they want to go with the sassing/trashing. 🙂
Thank you Liza and Kenny for the awesome day we had together!! It had been far too long since the last time I was in a moonbounce 😉
