Every time I shoot a wedding at City Hall, I never quite know what to expect. On Friday, the marriage bureau was more crowded than I’ve ever seen it (my friend – and awesome NYC officiant – Sarah Ritchie pointed out it may have had something to do with the one year anniversary of gay marriage becoming legal in NY). Joyce and Silas and their family were happy to all just be together and enjoy the day.
It was a nice change of pace for me, and I loved having time to capture all the moments between Joyce, Silas, and their family while we waited. After the wedding the three of us headed outside for some final photos.
Joyce and Silas, I had so much fun with both of you! Thank you for letting me document such a special day.
