Every time I go to Hoboken (which, granted, isn’t too often) I always think that I need to go there more. Hoboken is gorgeous, and has amazing views of the city. And it’s super easy to get to! And on top of all that, is the perfect place for an engagement shoot.
Sandra is actually the sister of Nicole, whose Sass the Dress I shot last year (and a college friend of mine!). She and Dave are getting married next summer and wanted some engagement photos at the Hoboken train station. Through his job with NJ transit, Dave was able to get us into the closed off section of the train station. Like a kid in a candy store, I ran around the HUGE dilapidated room and snapped away. We then hit up the esplanade off of Sinatra Drive to take some NYC skyline shots, since when Dave proposed to Sandra, it was along the water with the city skyline in the background.
It was a gorgeous day, though for the most part we tried to move slowly (except for all my running) because it was also very hot. Summer is here, folks!
Sandra and Dave, thank you so much for a lovely afternoon together!
