On Christmas Eve Karina and Nick were married in Rockefeller Center. They flew in from Ohio to get married. They were an awesome couple to photograph! I was honored to help them create the memory. Since it was just the two of them, for a good portion of the day it was the three of us alone, going around the city. A wonderfully unique experience, and definitely one I know I’ll remember.

People so loved the idea of a couple getting married in Rockefeller Center that soon a crowd starting forming (a crowd that was distinct and more crowded than the typical “crowd in Rockefeller Center the day before Christmas.” Hard to imagine, I know!). A couple of times I had to (gently, I promise!) nudge someone out of the way so that I could get the shot.

The wedding officiant was Sarah Ritchie and she was perfect! I highly recommend her if anyone out there is looking for an officiant. Her website is here. She has also blogged about Karina and Nick’s wedding, which everyone can read in detail here.

We ended the evening at Tavern on the Green (RIP) and took some shots in back of the restaurant. How could we resist the giant gorilla bush???
