Tomoko + Sharu ● NY City Hall Wedding Photographer

July 9, 2012

Tomoko and Sharu were married on a hot June day at the New York City Marriage Bureau on Worth Street. On that day, it wasn’t too crowded, and we were in and out of City Hall within 45 minutes. After the wedding, we headed up to the 72nd Street subway station (where they had met for their first date, and, months later, where Sharu had proposed), the Plaza Hotel, and Central Park.

Throughout the course of the day, it became clear how much they loved each other. Sharu doted on Tomoko. I can’t even articulate the feeling of love between them. I just know I was honored to be there, to photograph and serve as the official witness for their marriage.

Congratulations you two!! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day :)

THIS. This is exactly what I’m looking for in wedding photos (although we’re bound to have at least 10 witnesses). I hope we’re able to book you!
